Website Design & Web Development for Ball Brothers

Situation

The Ball Brothers Foundation is an independent, private family philanthropic organization and an outgrowth of the Ball family, founders of Ball Corporation, and namesakes for Ball State University and Ball Memorial Hospital.  The Ball name is synonymous with the Muncie, Indiana community.

web-design-ball-bros-foundationFor the Foundation, like many businesses, their typical grant recipient has changed the way they communicate.  The original web site that had been online was purely informational and did not match the brand identity of the Foundation.  In addition, there was no way to apply for a grant or see the status of pending grants online.

Solution

The Foundation engaged Fusework Studios to create a new Web site that was user-friendly, had a modern look but also was visually consistent with the tradition and integrity of an organization established in 1926.  Since granting funds and improving the community were primary goals of the BBF, we addressed these areas in the design and functionality of the site.  The process of applying for a grant was made easier and more efficient by allowing users to view the entire application on-line and print out the exact pages they need. In addition, grant histories and areas served are archived allowing the BBF to communicate more effectively the impact of their philanthropy.

Client Testimonial from Jud Fisher, Executive Director/COO:

Working with Fusework Studios was a great experience. The staff listened to what we wanted and made it happen. The process of revamping our entire IT system and Web site was virtually effortless. Their response time to maintenance issues has been wonderful. It is a pleasure to work with such a fine team.
