Situation

The Ball Brothers Foundation is an independent, private family philanthropic organization and an outgrowth of the Ball family, founders of Ball Corporation, and namesakes for Ball State University and Ball Memorial Hospital. The Ball name is synonymous with the Muncie, Indiana community.

For the Foundation, like many businesses, their typical grant recipient has changed the way they communicate. The original web site that had been online was purely informational and did not match the brand identity of the Foundation. In addition, there was no way to apply for a grant or see the status of pending grants online.

Solution

The Foundation engaged Fusework Studios to create a new Web site that was user-friendly, had a modern look but also was visually consistent with the tradition and integrity of an organization established in 1926. Since granting funds and improving the community were primary goals of the BBF, we addressed these areas in the design and functionality of the site. The process of applying for a grant was made easier and more efficient by allowing users to view the entire application on-line and print out the exact pages they need. In addition, grant histories and areas served are archived allowing the BBF to communicate more effectively the impact of their philanthropy.

Client Testimonial from Jud Fisher, Executive Director/COO:

Working with Fusework Studios was a great experience. The staff listened to what we wanted and made it happen. The process of revamping our entire IT system and Web site was virtually effortless. Their response time to maintenance issues has been wonderful. It is a pleasure to work with such a fine team.

Situation

The Greater Indianapolis Chamber came to Fusework Studios looking for assistance in helping to increase its membership base. The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce is the eighth largest chamber in the country, with approximately 5,000 members. They were looking to increase membership while retaining their current members by using the Internet to compliment events and services, elevate their brand, and become more relevant to their younger constituents.

Solution

Fusework Studios partnered with GICC to create a comprehensive Global Internet Marketing Plan. This plan incorporated consultation on new media tools, blogs, a new social networking site, design, and Internet based promotions. FWS created strategies and tactics that tied back to every objective and goal of the GICC. As an ongoing effort, the GICC continues to evolve and become a modern Chamber with industry leading technology and a tool set to reach the business community of tomorrow.

A Micro site created for the GICC’s green business initiative can be viewed at www.indygreenbusiness.com and a social networking site created for current and prospective GICC members can be viewed at www.indylink.com.

Client Testimonial from Roland Dorson, President:

I have no hesitation in recommending Fusework Studios to anybody. Particularly those who are interested in upgrading their web presence or meeting any kind of video production needs that you might have. Chambers of Commerce are high bound. We’ve been around since the 16th century. We’re used to doing things in a certain way. New technology does not come easy to us. What Fusework has done is allow us to reach new audiences using the most efficient, effective, newest technology.

Situation

Fusework Studios was selected by The Arc of Indiana to spearhead a robust marketing campaign that included rebranding, print, video and web.

Solution

The campaign kicked off with a redesign of The Arc of Indiana logo and all marketing materials. Fusework was challenged with a focus on staying consistent with The Arc National brand recognition, but providing The Arc of Indiana its own unique identity. Following the branding process, Fusework wrote, produced and edited eight educational videos. In addition to being available on-line, all eight videos were bundled and put on a fully authored DVD for distribution to all of The Arc of Indiana’s local chapters.

Next, Fusework Studios took on the complete overhaul of The Arc of Indiana’s Web site. All of these goals went into the development and design of the site and resulted in intuitive navigation for users, an e-Newsletter sign up, a RSS news feed, a video gallery, internal site search capability, an online donation portal, and more. The site also features a focus on social networking with direct links in the core navigation to The Arc of Indiana’s Facebook and YouTube pages as well as their blogs. The Arc of Indiana also recently started using Twitter.

Client Testimonial from Sally Morris,
Assistant Director of Public Relations:

Following The Arc of Indiana’s 50th Anniversary, we wanted to take some time and a serious look at how we should communicate who The Arc of Indiana is today and what we hope to accomplish for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families in the future. We wanted to develop an integrated look for our logo, print materials, web site and videos. We choose Fusework Studios because they could provide us with the whole package. Rather than using different companies or independent contractors for different projects, Fusework offered the staff and talent to help us create a new logo and tagline, a wonderful new web site, a series of videos, and print materials that provide an integrated look and message.
